These four ship in every cohort, tuned to your track. Kids make the playful versions; founders make the money-making ones. All of them actually run. And one build is standard everywhere: your own personal AI assistant, with a different outcome for every builder.

A WhatsApp-style assistant that answers, checks a calendar and books the slot, for a salon, a clinic, a football pitch.
A portfolio site
A fast, handsome site that shows your work, designed with AI as your junior, deployed live in an afternoon.
A content engine
One idea in, a week of on-brand posts out: drafted by AI, curated by you, scheduled automatically. Taste stays human.
An ops dashboard
Sales, stock, bookings: pulled from the tools you already use into one clear morning view, with an AI summary on top.
The method
Learn by shipping.
Tutorials evaporate. Shipped things stick. Every track runs the same three-beat loop, over and over, until building with AI feels like riding a bike.
Pick a real problem
Yours, your family’s, your business’s. If nobody would notice it being solved, it doesn’t make the cut. Real stakes make real builders.
Build it, together
Small groups, a coach at your elbow, AI doing the heavy lifting. You learn to direct the tools (brief them, doubt them, correct them), not just prompt and pray.
Ship it, show it
Every session ends with a demo. Applause is mandatory, polish is not. Then you pick the next problem, slightly bigger, and go again.
The space
A workshop, not a classroom.
The Lab runs live online: small cohorts on video, a coach at your elbow on screen, and a demo wall you present to at the end. When a team books a build week, we can also come to you. Wherever you are, it should feel like somewhere things get made, because they do.
- Live, never recorded Small groups over video, hands on the keyboard the whole session. If it could have been a replay, we would not bother meeting.
- Tools set up and covered Every major AI tool configured on your own machine in session one, subscriptions covered for your whole cohort.
- Demo days Every cohort ends presenting real work to the room. Applause is mandatory, polish is not.
Fair questions
Before you ask…
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Most builders arrive never having written a line. You’ll leave understanding how software fits together and how to direct AI to write, fix and explain code for you. The coders among you just go deeper, faster.
Which AI tools do you teach?
Whatever ships your project best: today that means frontier chat assistants, coding agents, image and voice tools, and the boring-but-mighty automation platforms. Tools change monthly; the method doesn’t. We teach judgement, not menus.
What should I bring?
Professionals, founders and teams: your own laptop and one real problem you care about. Kids: a laptop at home and a parent nearby for the first session; we set up the accounts together. Everyone: a healthy suspicion of anything that demos too smoothly.
Can I see it before committing?
Yes: ask on the join form and we will invite you to sit in on a live demo day, watch a cohort ship, and ask the alumni anything.
Is my child too young / am I too old?
Young Builders fits ages 9–15 comfortably. On the other end there is no end: our oldest graduate is 68 and automated her church’s bookkeeping. Curiosity is the entry requirement; birth year isn’t.
What happens after my cohort?
You keep building. Alumni get lifetime access to the community group, alumni demo days, and first invitations to advanced sprints. The Lab is a door you walk through, not a course you finish.
